With NO STRANGER TO LOVE, USA Today Bestselling Author Pamela Aares delivers another page-turning contemporary romance in the Tavonesi Series featuring love, suspense and adventure!
Juliet Cabot is no stranger to trouble, but she never imagined that her work defending endangered sea turtles on a beautiful Greek island would turn deadly. Threats to her life force her to call for help from the man who's haunted her dreams for years—wine country landowner and international polo star Parker Tavonesi.

Parker owes Juliet big time for getting him out of a fix in the past. Handsome, resourceful and fearless, she trusts him with her life but she vowed she would never trust him with her heart. When danger enshrouds them and warm island nights cause their bottled-up passions to flare, Juliet's every fantasy could become reality . . . unless the dark secrets of a sultry paradise prove fatal, not just for the struggling sea turtles but for Parker and Juliet as well.

Don't Miss ANY of
The Tavonesi Series

There was nothing Parker liked better than a great party. Well, almost nothing. He did like winning a ball-busting polo match and the satisfaction of a great grape harvest.

He stared out at the party he’d arranged for his brother’s birthday. The band blared out a brilliant cover of “Stand by Me.” Dancers shouted and raised their hands over their heads on the dance floor, and Beau gave him a thumbs-up from across the room.
But his thoughts weren’t caught up in the swirl of lights, pulsing music and celebrating dancers.
Five minutes before the first guests had arrived, Juliet’s email had arrowed into his life, upsetting the smooth facade he preferred to show to the outside world.
He hadn’t heard from Juliet since the day of the Sommelier shoot, two and a half months ago. Except for her formal thank-you for his donation to the seal rescue center. On letterhead. Typed.
A week later he’d sent her the email announcing the party for the First Flight launch. He’d added a postscript reminding her that if she ever needed him, all she had to do was ask. She’d responded by checking the response box that said Not Attending.
Though he appreciated what social media made possible for marketing his business, he preferred old-fashioned, face-to-face communication. It left less to interpretation.
To the imagination.
He didn’t blame Juliet for taking off without saying goodbye. Just as he couldn’t be angry with his sister. He regretted his insensitive remarks, but by the time he’d heard of their conversation, the damage had been done.
Perhaps Zuri’s truth-telling had been for the best. He wasn’t relationship material. And a woman like Juliet deserved a man who was.
After the wine launch, he’d thrown himself into hard riding, harder work at the vineyard and crafting the perfect elaborate party for Beau’s birthday. As if the fiendish buzz of busyness would salve the regret that tugged at him.
He skirted the dance floor and walked along the rose-lined garden path that led to his library. A tap of his finger and Juliet’s message lit his computer screen.
Her simply worded email alarmed him.
I need you for a matter of great importance. Come to Zantos. I’ll explain when you arrive.
The three short sentences were already pulling him across the thousands of miles to Greece. Knowing her, she’d had to swallow her pride to even ask him for help.
He owed her. Big-time. More than she knew.
The magazine cover and five-page article had shot First Flight and his vineyard to world prominence. He’d sold out the vintage and had orders for the next. The cover photo of him and Juliet kissing had gone viral. No one could buy publicity like that.
He stared at the cover he’d had framed to hang on the wall of his library. Like a sentinel guarding a world beyond his grasp, the cover glared at him, mocking him.
How could memories be both delicious and disturbing at the same time?
He could still feel the lushness of Juliet’s lips and the heat of her skin beneath his hand. He’d loved the spunky way she’d sparred with him. Loved? Maybe too strong a word. He wasn’t sure he was cut out for that fine emotion.
He ignored the voice of warning whispering in the depths of his mind as he put his fingers on the keyboard. She’d asked for help, he would give it.
With a few clicks, he had a reservation for a flight to Athens the next evening. And a flight out to Zantos Island after he had time to clear customs. Another few clicks, and a few typed words that didn’t reveal any of the mixed emotions roiling through him, and he’d informed Juliet of his arrival.

Q & A with Pamela Aares
What books/authors have influenced your writing?
I love Nora Roberts, Barbara Freethy, Sara Maclean, Joanna Bourne... I love authors who write smart, sassy, sensual heroes and heroines.

Tell us something you hate doing. Why?
I hate doing household accounting and bills. I put off doing them until the last moment. I always feel like I could be doing something creative with that time... and no matter how organized I am it always takes hours and hours each month.

Share a funny incident in your life.
Our neighbor came to our garden party last week and he reported to my husband that he no longer had his tech job and that there weren't many good tech jobs nearby. Hubby and I were thinking oh-- we need to take them a casserole, maybe help out with the kids, etc., when we discovered that the neighbor owned the company he'd worked for and that he'd sold it- (for gazillions)- thus no longer having the job! Saved us from making the casserole... we're no good at those anyway!

What’s your next project?
OMG: Until Love Finds You, (book #2 in the Journey to Love Trilogy within the Tavonesi Series). I love hidden identity stories and how they reveal our prejudices and peccadillos. Readers have been asking for Coco Tavonesi's story for a long time, so here she comes. Her hero, Billionaire in hiding Evan Forbes is deep, sensual and guarded. Love finds the code to both of their hearts.
Here's the logline and the cover:
A beautiful photographer discovers her hot new computer geek is really a reclusive tech billionaire.

What's the one thing, you can't live without?
Um... I assume you mean other than love, family and health... since becoming an author, I so totally treasure my readers. I've met and corresponded with so many amazing women from all walks of life. My readers are the sparkle in my days!

What is your favorite movie (song)?
adore the movie Wedding Date! Maybe it's the idea of being able to hire the man who turns out to be the heroine's perfect match, or maybe it's the scenes where he's only thinking of her pleasure and coaxing her to drop in and really feel, or maybe it's the comic elements. Dermot Mulrooney of course makes a swoon-for hero.

Your favorite book by you or another author?
I have to say the NO STRANGER TO LOVE is my current fave... and I got the biggest charge out of watching my mom and hubby read it. They were like-- "don't talk to me right now, I'm in a suspenseful part!".  Parker is in many ways my favorite hero... he stretches the Alpha-male stereotype to its boundaries.

Clean shaven, Scruff, beard, or mustache.
I've always gone for the clean shaven, scrubbed-up-athlete look (hubby pulls it off fab!) but lately some movie heroes are convincing me the a couple days growth can be sexy. Not much for beards and mustaches.

Thank you for featuring NO STRANGER TO LOVE and thank you for having me as a guest. I am endlessly thankful for all that you do to help readers find stories they love!

4 Stars

I love when a discover a new author as I did with Pamela Aares. She made me feel like I was in Greece with Parker & Juliet  You could just feel the passion between Parker & Juilet when they both weren’t being stubborn for their feelings towards each other, but when they finally gave in the romance was amazing.  After reading No Stranger to Love makes me want to go read the other books in the Tavonesi series.  If you are looking for a wonderful written romance with a little suspense for a summer read I recommend you pick up a copy of No Stranger to Love. Thank you to Tasty Book Tours for giving me the opportunity to read & review No Stranger to Love.

Book Blitz w/Giveaway: No Greater Hell by Jerrie Alexander

No Greater Hell
by Jerrie Alexander
Series: Lost and Found, Inc., #4
Genre: Romantic Suspense
Release Date: May 17, 2016

His past is better left forgotten…

Former Army helicopter pilot Jake Donovan is lucky to be alive. At least that’s what his team of neurosurgeons said. But he knows differently. Jake’s crimes almost cost Holly Hoffman her life, and even though he can’t remember, the pain in her eyes is something he’ll never forget.

Holly’s done being a victim. As a trauma nurse her skills are needed by a humanitarian group providing medical aid after a killer storm ravages the Gulf Coast of Texas. Saving lives however, won’t be an option when a madman wants her dead.

Can Jake and Holly shed the weight of his dark past, or will their happily-ever-after have a fatal ending?

Logan's willingness to support her, to help her right this wrong, touched her heart. For him to agree so easily spoke volumes. He was doing this for her. Deep down she'd known it for years. Had she and Logan been in love all this time and ignored or refused to admit it? Had fate given her the chance to answer that question?
It’s about time you got into the field." Jake knew how badly she wanted to become a field agent. She’d been training hard.
"So you’ll come back for the big day?"
"I don't know." Not wanting to lie to her, Jake met her gaze with his. “No.”
She opened her mouth as if to argue. Nate cut her off by asking her to pass the coleslaw.
Jake shoved a forkful of beans into his mouth and said nothing else.
The group ate in an uncomfortable silence, thankfully broken when Diablo dropped a big paw on Jake's leg to beg for food. He jumped, giving everyone a laugh.
"Hang on," he said to the dog. As he pulled off a chunk of chopped beef to share, the talk switched to Diablo, who Marcus had smuggled into Texas from Colombia. Raised by the notorious drug lord, Manuel Ortega, the dog had been trained to kill on command, and was considered unredeemable by everybody except Marcus. But Diablo had proved them wrong by accepting new training, and he’d grown to worship Marcus. Man and dog had adjusted to each other beautifully.
Jake hoped his own transition to a new life would be as easy.
Just getting through today was trying as hell. The group of people surrounding him ranked up there with the best, a team that worked well as a unit, helping people when all other resources had failed.
Reluctantly, he stood and started his good-byes. He tried to make it quick, giving a friendly hug to Nate and Marcus. Dalton reached out his hand, and Jake accepted it as an honest gesture.
He and Dalton had gotten off to a rough start. Understandable, since Jake had been living as Johnny Darling for a human trafficking ring at the time. FBI agent Dalton Murphy had worked the case, ultimately arresting Jake for kidnapping Holly. That arrest led to the removal of a brain tumor that had saved his life and restored the part of his memory that was Jake Donovan.
Kay held Jake tightly for a few minutes, then she whispered, “Take care of yourself.”
“I will.”
She turned and buried her face in her husband's chest. Jake kissed the back of her head and then walked out the door.
These people had saved his life. They’d taken care of him even though he didn’t deserve the sweat off their brow. Nothing would ever lessen his gratitude. He committed everything they'd done for him to memory.
He didn't remember the monster he'd once been, but they did.
With each step, his breathing grew labored, as an imagined metal strap tightened around his chest. With each step away from the comfort and protection of his friends, the band tightened. And with each step, he opened the door to his new future.
A big hand landed on his shoulder. "We all have our private hell. I hope you find the way back from yours. Take care, my friend."
Jake turned around to face Nate. "You too."
"You won't find redemption by living in isolation. You'll find it here." Nate tapped a finger on Jake's temple.
Jake shook his head. "I'm not looking for redemption. I'm just hoping for a little peace of mind."

Jake and Holly, both of them walked through hell, and I mean hell, each carries scars that don't seem to go away, Jake's are worse than Holly's.
Jake found himself lost after a crash and after leaving the hospital with no memory of who he was, found employment, but not the kind that you would want, in this guise he was responsible for Holly's kidnaping.
But some part of his old self was still there and surfaced long enough to save her. His friends bandied behind him and got him the help he needed.
Once more reunited, Jake again finds himself protecting Holly and going through more hell than either wants. The plot line kept me glued to it until I finished the story, no more of the plot will I say for am sure there are readers out there that want to read it.
Its a fantastic book and it will take you and trip of a lifetime. Thank you to Book Partners In Crime of the opportunity to read & review No Greater Hell.
