Kate Massie has big dreams-they just haven't worked out. Yet. In the meantime, she spends her days clerking for a judge and her nights fantasizing about her tall, dark, and sexy gym crush. So when she runs into him one night, she's shocked to realize he was her shy, nerdy junior-prom date. But that isn't where the surprises end . . .

James Abell needs a date to his sister's wedding. So when Kate agrees, he's relieved . . . until one little lie turns their wedding date into a full-blown fake relationship. Only it doesn't feel fake-not the toe-curling kisses and definitely not the electricity. Neither of them is looking for something real . . . but they just might fall for their own little white lie.

I really enjoyed this book, I just love the fake girl friend storyline those are one of my go to books, & this one did not disappoint. Kate agrees to be James fake girlfriend for his sister's wedding, to keep his mother & his ex-fiancee at bay to show them he was over his ex fiancee Brooke, but never realizing her feelings for him as a friend could turn into so much more, & it scared the heck out of her. Kate is afraid to let anyone close except her best friends Beth, Ryan & her sister since losing her dad. She uses a secret to scare James away when he gets to close. If you like the fake girlfriend storyline than this one is for you. Thank you to Tasty Book Tours for giving me this opportunity to read & review The Wedding Date.

What a way to end a series!! Rocky Mountain Wedding was a short afternoon read that had me laughing, talking to myself saying "Nooooo" this can't be happening to Sawyer & Ruby & few tears were sneaking out of eyes.  After reading More Than a Feeling I was glad to return to Aspen & the Walker Ranch to see Sawyer & Ruby finally starting there life together with a few surprises! This lady now needs to head back to the beginning with the other 3 couples to see how they got together. Let me start by saying I am a sucker for the secret baby storylines, & Secret Child, Royal Scandal did not disappoint. After seeing Noelle at his brother's wedding, Christian shows up at Noelle's door step uninvited & boy did he get the surprise & shock of his life a 4 year old little boy. He needs an heir for the crown since his oldest triplett brother married & woman who can't have any children & his other triplett brother married American. It is up to Christian to have the heir he must convince Noelle to marry him to legitimize his son. But will Noelle let her heart get broken by Christian a second time. There was sometimes I just wanted to wring Christian neck for not telling Noelle his true feelings for her 5 years ago, but I could see his reasonings but after reuniting with Noelle he had plenty of chance & still didn't tell her he could have saved them time. Instead of making Noelle think he only wanted to marry her to legitmize Marc...MEN!!! I really enjoyed this book, but would have had at least a epilogue to find out some things, I don't want to say what cause I don't want to give any spoilers away. If you a sucker for secret baby story line this one is for you.

Blurb:

An inherited parking spot. That’s all it took to make Natalie Moran’s food truck dreams come true. But her dream space is attached to a bakery inherited by someone else—drop dead gorgeous Eric Schneider, a financial consultant who wouldn’t know a cupcake from a cannoli. And he wants to buy Nat out, no matter what she has to say about it.

Eric’s determined to build his own business, but he needs the super cute klutz with the cupcake truck to help. If Nat will teach him the basics of running a bakery, he’ll give her free kitchen time. Except…neither expects the heat burning between them or the possibility that their arrangement might become permanent.

When it all blows up, Nat is convinced his actions mean betrayal. It’s up to Eric to regain her trust and show her he’s a man who is truly, madly in love with her, before she disappears from his life forever.

Truly, Madly. Sweetly was very nice sweet read, the kind you just want to wrap yourself in a blanket with a cup of flavored coffee to read, well that is what I did with most of it anyways. I just loved how they both admired each other from afar but neither one knew each other was doing that until one day Nat literally ran into Eric & his whole gelato cone went were no one expected. I loved the chemistry & the banter between Eric & Nat it was lighthearted & gave you a good laugh. But there was parts in the book that made me say "Grow some Eric" when it came to his parents. I truly recommend this book if you are looking for a nice relaxing read, but please do not read with an
empty stomach. Thank you to Tasty Book Tours for giving me the opportunity to read & review Truly, Madly, Sweetly.

EskieMama Reads review: Getting Wound Up by Jennifer Bernard & Erin Nicholas

Blurb:

A fun and flirty crossover novel from bestselling authors, Jennifer Bernard (Love Between the Bases) and Erin Nicholas (Sapphire Falls)!

Caitlyn Murray has never let on that she’s had fantasies about her brother's friend Eli Anderson for years. She'd do anything for the sexy baseball player who walked away from stardom to stay in Sapphire Falls and take care of his family. But she and Eli are friends. Just friends.

So when her brother hatches a plan to get Eli to the pro baseball try-out for the Kilby Catfish and another chance at his dream, Caitlyn is all in. After all, what's a little kidnapping among friends?

A spot on the pitcher's mound for the Catfish isn't the only tempting thing about the spontaneous road trip. Eli already knows that Caitlyn is as sweet as the candies she makes for the Sapphire Falls bakery, but alone with her overnight in the tiny motel room in Kansas, it's impossible to resist the urge to take a little taste.

But when that taste leads to falling for the girl next door just as his front door is moving hundreds of miles away, can Eli really have it all? Or do they have too many strikes against them?

Review     5 Stars

Wow where do I start, Getting Wound Up was a fantastic read! I loved the chemisty & the banter between Eli & Caitlyn. Caitlyn has always loved Eli from afar & when she got her chance to be with him she did. I loved the small town atomsphere Sapphire Falls Nebraska, I loved how Eli's father, his friends Ty & Bryan along with Caitlyn conspire to get Eli to the open tryout camp by kidnapping him, after he gave the dream up after his father had a stroke. Eli & Caitlyn were such a great match, they gave up their dreams when their family needed them the most. If you are looking for an enjoyable fun read I truly recommend Getting Wound Up.  Thank you to Tasty Book Tours for giving me the opportunity to read & review Getting Wound Up!
